People often ask me where to find ideas for their business.

They desire to have their own business, to be able to work only part-time; perhaps get out of nursing altogether.

Finding ideas is really not so hard.

Visit the library or book store, walk you downtown area, flip through your yellow pages, better yet, get on-line and surf the web.

Then sit down and write a list of everything you do in life, have done or want to do. Don't hold back and don't limit your list.

This will be a good starting point for you.

To get you started I have listed 501 business idea areas.

These ideas can be expanded, or tightened, to create viable businesses. Build informative web sites, create books or e-books, become a councilor or teacher...there are so many opportunities to create a business with any of these ideas.

Nursing students...there is a chat / bulletin board area where you can ask questions and get answers from other nursing students. Very insightful indeed.
