This site is meant to be easy to navigate and search. Time is precious. This site is meant to be easier to use and less confusing. You can go directly to a hospitals (or schools) own web page (either via direct link or by copy & pasting into your browser window) and check out who they are and what opportunities are available.
Who is Wendy Getchell?I have been a Registered Nurse for over 23 years. I no longer practice nursing in traditional settings, partly due to family issues but mostly because I seem to no longer fit. I never specialized and in today's job market being a "jack of all trades" doesn't always fit in to the scheme of things. But I had so much experience, so much rounded knowledge, that it made no sense to throw away all those years. Well, four years ago I discovered a tool (and a wonderful company) that led me on a whole new path and direction in nursing. With no knowledge of html or how to build a web site I mastered the know how and built a web business. It was so easy! I did not have to go back to school and take web design, nor any business courses and to top it off (the proverbial icing on the cake) I discovered I could do it all myself at a ridiculously affordable price. Thus I developed NurseSentry.com. It is my way of keeping in touch with the nursing profession, helping others start their career or find an employer and even allows me to be politically active, giving my voice and support to a strong and vibrant profession.
