About Nurse Sentry




What is it about Nurse Sentry that makes this site different from other nurse web sites?

I designed it to serve two main purposes:

First:

  • As a comprehensive resource site for nurses

    • Whether you are researching potential employers and employment opportunities, looking for licensing boards, or trying to locate professional organizations, schools or supply sources, you should be able to find it here.

    This site is meant to be easy to navigate and search.

    Time is precious.

    You may now post resumes and even get involved in specific nursing discussions here on NurseSentry.com.

    This site is meant to be easier to use and less confusing.

    You can go directly to a hospitals (or schools) own web page (either via direct link or by copy & pasting into your browser window) and check out who they are and what opportunities are available.

    Second:

  • To allow health care organizations to spend less on advertising and more on their nurses.

    • As a Registered Nurse I am painfully aware of the shortage of professionals and the strain it puts on our lives; both work and private.

    Anything employers can do to help alleviate work load issues, including up to date equipment, computerized charting systems, to better pay and benefits, will help to retain staff.

    Employers and staffing agencies may now access resumes of nurses looking for work within Canada and the United States.
