The Canadian Men in Nursing Group
"A voice for Canadian men in nursing" Would you like to strengthen and support the image of nursing as a viable profession for men?
The CMNG is a national group that supports men in the profession. Men only make up about 6% of nurses in Canada. The CMNG mission is to provide a voice for men by educating the public about the nursing profession and the role men have. Our group is involved in doing educational talks to both high school and middle school students throughout Canada. We also take on a leadership role in ensuring that issues surrounding men in nursing are being heard by governments and professional nursing organizations.
