Nurse Sentry of Canada First Annual Health Stories Contest





Nurse Sentry of Canada is seeking writers!

We are excited to introduce our first annual writing contest.

The contest is open to anyone, whether you are a nurse or not. The only stipulation is that your story be health related.

Entries can be fiction, non-fiction, memoir style and in any genre of your choosing.

Entries can be articles for other nurses or health professionals, short story romance or amateur detective, letters to the editor (magazines or newspapers).

Use your imagination, share your stories and skills with us and perhaps you will become one of our major winners.

Word length should be no more than 1500 words

Deadline: March 31


Prizes include monetary rewards for first, second and third place, plus every entry will have a chance to win a brand new Littman stethoscope.

First prize $100

Second prize $50

Third prize $25

All winning entries will be posted here on the web site. They will also be posted in a mini bloglet in April 2012

Entry fee is $10 per entry and you may enter as many times as you wish
