Providing nursing care in USA health care facilities and hospitals is not really very different from nursing in Canada.

Of course some medications are different, health care insurance is not something everyone is able to afford just yet, but the care is provided regardless.

From a nurses perspective, it was not a difficult adjustment in work practices, and my experiences working in hospitals in the USA were positive.

In your search you will note many health care organizations operate more than one health facility.

If you are a foreign born nurse, that is, not an American citizen, and do not have a green card, you will need to be aware of important regulations that apply to you working in the United States.
